Privacy Notice (KVKK)

1. Data controller

Under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), the data controller is Kübra Güler Avcı, PT & Psychologist. Contact: [email protected]

2. Personal data processed

  • Identity and contact data: name, surname, phone, email
  • Health data (special category): presenting complaint, diagnosis, treatment and session records, assessment forms
  • Technical data: limited records relating to use of this website

3. Purposes of processing

Creating and managing appointments, delivering physiotherapy and psychological counselling services, tracking the course of treatment, meeting statutory record-keeping obligations, and contacting you at your request.

4. Legal basis

Health data is processed under KVKK art. 6/3 for the purposes of protection of public health, preventive medicine, medical diagnosis, treatment and care services, by a health professional bound by a duty of confidentiality. Other data is processed on the basis of contract performance and legitimate interest.

5. Transfers

Your data is not shared with third parties without your explicit consent. Service providers used for booking and form infrastructure act as data processors: Setmore (online booking; Setmore Inc. / AnywhereWorks, US), Web3Forms (form delivery, US) and Cloudflare (hosting, global network). Because these providers use servers outside Türkiye, such sharing constitutes an international transfer under Article 9 of the KVKK and rests on your explicit consent; if you prefer not to give it, you can arrange an appointment by email instead. Only a name, contact details, the service you selected and a short note pass through these channels — no diagnosis, history or detailed health information is requested through them. That information is collected only during a session and is not transferred abroad. Disclosure to competent public authorities may occur where legally required.

6. Retention

Health records are retained for the minimum period required by applicable legislation (as a rule 15 years), after which they are deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Enquiries submitted through the contact form that do not lead to a course of treatment (name, contact details, selected service and a short note) are kept for a maximum of 2 years, after which they are deleted.

7. Your rights

Under KVKK art. 11 you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, request information, learn the purpose of processing, request correction or erasure, object to processing, and claim compensation for damages. Requests may be sent to [email protected] and are answered within 30 days.
